Mikrotik is really for the advanced. You don’t understand network equipment, you don’t know network protocols, you don’t have time to read and learn - Mikrotik is not for you, we buy tplink, asus, but not Mikrotik. Even not every installer of the provider will be able to configure it correctly. Mikrotik - rather for corporate use at the most affordable price, it will do for the home too, but if someone has the knowledge of settings. We need a simple router for the home - asus, tplink, dlink. If you want stability, functionality - Mikrotik. The choice is yours.
- Opportunities for little money.
- RouterOS - partly the same Linux with its own terminal! Yes, there is a winbox, there is a web muzzle, but in 2022 there is no Russification and there never will be, and the winbox does not shine with usability, but is generally thought out. There is no patch cord for connecting a computer in the kit, I have a router from the past, and whoever doesn’t, will have to spend more on it if necessary. +300 RUB add to the average cost.
