Interesting adapter. I have a Dell Latitude 12 7275 2-in-1 - Intel Core m5-6Y57 2.8GHz 8GB RAM 256GB SSD Windows 10 Pro (Certified Refurbished) laptop that I use for work and home. This adapter works with about half of all TVs and monitors I try to connect to. In my quest to get my computer working with all the major displays I use (HP 27es Full HD 27" IPS LED Backlit Natural Silver Monitor, Sony Bravia 65" TV, LG 3D Smart TV 2012/13, older Samsung LED 2010 TV) , I almost exhausted all resources and finally settled on the limited capabilities of this adapter as the source of frustration. HDMI Cables: I bought BlueRigger High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet - Supports 3D and Audio Return [Latest Version] - 10ft to use due to its high ratings Cable worked great with Macbook Pro (with built in HDMI jack). Computer Software: I spoke to a Dell representative and updated all my relevant drivers and even my BIOS. In the end, my efforts yielded mixed results. I was able to get my Sony TV and LG TV to display correctly on my computer. I couldn't get my HP monitor or Samsung TV to work. All testing was done using this CableCreation adapter, BlueRigger HDMI, and my Dell 7275 Latitude, as well as benchmark testing using a Windows computer with its own HDMI output.
