It makes no sense to me why the tweeter would be turned up to that level and the lower center would be ignored; how can you even call such headphones monitor headphones? Although the volume is low when used in conjunction with the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB 2.0, you should still be able to work. Nonetheless, this does not count against the headphones. If I were to mix using only them, rather than monitors, I would fail miserably. By the way, I made the decision to simulate the sound of headphones on my monitors. I was able to accomplish this by adjusting the equalization control (EQ) on the master and turning it up by 12 decibels (!) after 1 kilohertz. After that, the lower middle began to take on a more natural sound. I made the decision to test the headphones using the Realtek sound card that is often found on motherboards. The sound is identical to the one coming from my professor's computer, and the volume is set to the same level. To those who believe that all audiophiles are prepared to sprint for an amplifier, this is a note:
