If you are buying this for a child and not intending to teach them or give them a chance to observe the night sky then this is the perfect telescope for you. lol My binoculars actually work much better than this telescope. The parts are difficult to attach and the picture is so blurry. Honestly, don't bother. You get what you pay for. Spend the extra money and buy something valuable, you won't regret it. I have an Apertura AD8, it's a beast. Not that I expected this thing to hold a candle. But at least a clear picture of the moon, give me something.
