This is the standard corded phone I bought for my VOIP telephony. The first one I bought had non-working buttons on the bottom row of numbers (7, 8, 9) so Revain quickly sent me a new one while I was returning it. The new one seems to work fine. Telephone cords are built into the phone, including (1) handset to docking station; and (2) dock to wall outlet. So you don't need any other separate telephone cables. Good if you use your phone close to the plug. However, if you want to extend it further, you need to buy an RJ11 jack-to-jack adapter. Pros: Comfortable to hold, solid construction, good sound quality. The volume control and the ringer volume can be adjusted easily and intuitively. Cons: The keys feel a bit soft for my taste. Caller ID memory requires 3 AA batteries. I wish they figured out how to use fewer batteries or maybe add some flash memory, but I understand the lack of investment in this piece of outdated consumer technology, not worth researching and developing. but it would make the phone a bit smooth.
