The backpack is large enough to hold both your phone and charger so you can charge on the go.

My portable battery charger holder is large enough to hold the charger, my iPhone, two charging cables (one for each type of charging function), and the square power adapter that came with my phone. However, the stretcher could be a little shorter and therefore a little lighter. With all of the above components, I have about 1-3/4 pounds of electronics in my backpack, along with water and other essentials for the day. It can feel heavy over time. The case itself is extremely attractive in the gray color I bought. Although the case flexes a little when pushed from the outside, I feel it offers the protection I need. A stiffer hard case would probably be much heavier.
