This company wants you to think it's a cotton yarn when it's actually an acrylic blend (not a cotton blend as the company claims). he is soft Works well with 5mm crochet. The suggested 3mm hook gives a very dense, thick fabric suitable for warm socks. This is not a chunky yarn as I don't plan on using the crochet hooks I use for chunky yarn with this yarn. It is not as absorbent as cotton yarn as acrylic is not as absorbent and is the main ingredient. It can make a lovely sweater or even a baby blanket, but is unlikely to be useful for a kitchen napkin. Just thought people should know as the actual yarn composition is never stated in the description. And a skein of 193 m is not knot-free.
