Lasted 21 months before sound became distorted.
I don't have a great deal of experience for how long headphones should last, so I don't know whether this rating is too high or too low. Lost the breakaway part early, that probably would have extended the life of the headphone a bit. I primarily used this headphone for the gym. The cable is a bit long for that purpose, but they worked well until they didn't :)
- The absence of a microphone makes these headphones an excellent choice for students who need to concentrate on their work without hearing distractions
- The headphones may have a short lifespan despite being advertised as rugged
