Will discolour after a few years

Strainer for 5 liters bought in 2010 yellow. Only 7 years later and I have cleaned it carefully and promptly every time after use, it is very discolored and rusty. The color change started a few years after purchase. A picture says more than a thousand words, that's how it is today. I will not be buying from Calypso Basics again.
