About 3 years ago I saved up and bought Thermapen for about $100 because the reviews were great. I've been using it ever since and I love it. But this week I saw an instant thermometer(?) on sale at Revain for $10.99 and I wanted to take it with me on the go. So I took a chance and got it yesterday. (The image below is the new red). As soon as I got it I wanted to test the speed and accuracy. I tried them side by side on bread fresh from the oven. They showed the same temperature with a difference of one second. Tried again this morning using boiling water for tea. Exactly the same temperature at the exact same time. I don't know if it will last long but I'm very satisfied!
