Much better accuracy than a scanner

I kept getting wildly different results using two different infrared scanners, so back to the basics. This thermometer is easy to use and has sterile sleeves (bought separately) to go over the sensor. Only complaint is that the beep it makes is so high a pitch I rarely hear it. Maybe the designers should realize there are older people with compromised hearing trying to use this device.

Pros

I like the material but you sometimes have to hold it on the thermometer to keep it from sliding off

Cons

Extra packaging may be difficult to store

I purchased this item to replace my older thermometer. I loved using the digital style. It is more accurate and easy to read.
