The first thing that struck me when I took this lemon squeezer out of the box was how HEAVY it was! I was expecting this item to be plastic like most kitchen items, but it is made from a very strong metal. I think it makes sense as he would be under a lot of stress if he used him as a bargaining chip. It kind of reminds me of the old school stuff that was there before everything was plastic - things like that were passed down from generation to generation. The handle is long enough to give you plenty of leverage when you squeeze it, so you don't have to strain your arms to get some citrus juice. Being able to put a lot of effort into the fruit also helps squeeze out every last drop, the lemons and limes seem completely drained when I squeeze them well. Overall, it's definitely worth the price and I'm very happy with my purchase!
