When you buy this monitor for the same price as me at $200, that's incredible value. It has the same issues as other high refresh rate budget monitors. Inconspicuous contrast, brightness and halos are quite noticeable in dark scenes. I think all of this is a fair compromise given the budget nature of the product. The only issue I find unforgivable is the volume when you turn on the speakers through the headphone jack on the monitor. It eats up the signal and lowers the upper volume limit of several sets of speakers I've tried. Overall, this is a good deal for a budget mainstream gaming monitor, or as a second monitor for a more expensive model.
