I really want to like these headphones as they are the only pair that are really comfortable in my ears at all times. I think my ear canals are smaller than average, so standard options like Apple headphones just don't stick. And if they do, they hurt and are unbearable for more than 10-15 minutes. I also really liked the reflective cable feature for night runs. That and the fit are the only reason I'm giving these two stars instead of one. I had two pairs of these Ironman Signature Series headphones. The first lasted a few years and began to fail. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. I couldn't tell if it was my phone jack or headphones. Definitely turned out to be headphones after some testing. I figured two years was probably a reasonable amount of time to expect the SPORT buds to last considering sweat, wear and tear etc. So in January I bought a second pair. Well, the same thing started in early May, this time with additional annoying behaviors! As another user mentioned, I believe the problem is in the control function this time. I turn on the Jurbuds and Spotify plays for a few seconds and then turns off. I can no longer skip tracks or pause playback. But for some reason, when I try to adjust the volume using the buttons on my phone, the volume slider just jumps around! One click toggles from low volume to 75% of maximum volume. I can only assume that this means it's getting mixed signals from the headphones. They kind of work, but most of the time they don't as I can't hear anything while it's happening. I don't know if it was too brittle and jammed or hit too hard, or if I just sweated the wrong way one day and now it's over. If I really play with the control button, I can get the music to keep playing. Who has time for that when you just want to get done with work and go home? Those are the worst. Yurbudy, for a product for ATHLETES this is horrific. Carry out further research and development and testing. Your product has to withstand the effects of sweat, carrying it in gym bags and rattling during exercise and the like.
