Finally I can use this - and it works great. The conversion between metric and standard AND fractional standards is amazing. My other digital caliper is metric only and costs more than five of these. I measured the push rod washers on my Jaguar 4.2 engine and the accuracy was excellent. I checked it with a very high quality tool kit and now I can trust this inexpensive caliper without even knowing it. I rebuilt my pushrods with this tool and it worked out great without having to redo any of them which sometimes happens. My car purrs like a crazy kitten. The rustproof construction is a nice bonus and the numbers/letters etc are clear and easy to read. The case is decent and it has an extra battery. The probes are a nice bonus as there are never too many of them.
