I've never used anything other than a standard thimble so wasn't sure I'd like it. I was hoping I could adjust them to fit the finger I wanted and they wouldn't fall off like normal thimbles. I've been pleased with how well these little guys are performing and staying where they are. To embroider I need a thimble that sits on the side of my ring finger, which is a bit of an awkward position for an obviously oval thimble. However, I was able to adjust it and get used to the off-center fit. Now I can't live without it! My only complaint is that sometimes the threads get stuck in the adjustable part of the overlap and I have to stop and pull them out.
