I would like to give this coffee grinder set a 5 but I can't. I bought them in fall 2020 and was thrilled when I received them for the first time. They look great, have lots of salt and pepper, easy to adjust the coarse/fine grind, come in a nice box, but they have 2 flaws that stand out to me.1. The motor didn't have enough power to grind the peppercorns. I've tried different types of pepper and they all do the same thing. It doesn't matter how coarse you set them, they'll start grinding, grabbing right away and making a horrible clicking sound. To release the grinding wheel you need to turn the grinder upside down, turn the knob to coarse (as far as the knob will allow) and then press the knob to turn on the grinder and allow the bound pepper chunks to grind. fall back into the tank by gravity. I tried adjusting the coarseness to see if it was just a problem if I ground it too fine, but it didn't matter. On the roughest setting it still binds when I add pepper. At first I thought I might have put the pepper in the wrong grinder, so I tried it in a different one and it came out the same. I just swapped the tops to see if the motor on one works better on the other base and that didn't work either. I am very disappointed that they don't grind peppers as that is the main reason I bought this set. On the plus side, they work great with regular sea salt and Himalayan pink sea salt. These grinders grind the contents very quickly, which comes in handy when you need to add salt to a soup pot or measure out a large amount of salt. I only wish they had done the same with pepper.2. The top of the handle on the cart is level with the grinders, so lifting the device by the cart's handle is quite inconvenient, as it is difficult to put your finger through the loop to lift it. I read the same comment in a review and decided to take a chance as all the other reviews I read were so great. If that were the only flaw with the set I would probably give it 5 stars.
