I have purchased photo products from Steve in the past and have been very happy with the results of the packaging. In search of primitive fire starter kits I bought a few from other vendors and they were mediocre at best. I saw this popup on my suggested purchases and immediately bought 2 knowing how complete Steve's items are. I bought one each for myself and my boyfriend. I have to say that Steve does not disappoint. The fat wood was fresh and smelled wonderful. The wood dust was also very fresh. The ferrorod works great and I love that everything fits neatly into a large can that fits in the Condor Molle Gadget Bag on my backpack. There was a tiny bug that Steve quickly took care of. One of the sets was missing a small knife. He sent the missing piece in time for my trip with my buddy. The fire started relatively quickly with the addition of frayed rope.
