I wanted a shoulder bag big enough for my journal but not BIG like the bags I weigh everything down with but the kitchen sink. We bought our daughter a rawhide shoulder bag at a flea market in London many years ago. At first, leather was tough and had to be donned almost like a baseball glove or leather jacket; then it became buttery soft and entirely her own. This bag reminds me of them - the size is great, the leather is high quality and practical, I also like to wear it as an accessory. What a gem!
