Review on ๐Ÿ”ธ Spornette Boar and Nylon Bristle Large Cushion Brush by Ryan Price

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks the same as the Mason Pearson brush but the bristles are shorter

At first I thought the brush was ok - I wasn't overly impressed as the smell of rubber didn't go away and the bristles of the brush are short. They barely go through my fairly fine hair, but the width and length of the brush is good. After using this brush for a long time, I really like it! I just wish the bristles were a little longer so they could go through all of my hair at once without separating them. Overall this is a good brush if you are looking for an alternative to the Mason Pearson brush - it costs A LOT less and looks the same! The only other brush that comes close to the cheaper version of the Mason Pearson is the one I have from Target's Sonia Kashuk line, but I'm pretty sure it's no longer for sale. This brush is the most similar to the Sonia Kashuk brush, and it's even slightly larger/wider, which is an added bonus. I also have another (round) brush from Spornette and it works well and is of good quality. I find the Spornette brand to be of high quality overall as I have tried several different brushes they make and have owned them for many years. I would definitely recommend this brush to others that look like it because it's actually made out of quality materials that don't break in a short time compared to others that might be a bit cheaper but always end up breaking after several months.
