Review on 🧡 As Seen on Sesame Street: Celebrate Love with SES Love ELMO! by Robert Aliraqi

I rarely write reviews but felt it important to let others know who, like me, might be misled about this particular toy. A 20-month-old granddaughter who loves Elmo very much. Opening the box, I was surprised to find that the entire body of this supposedly "huggable" toy, from the neck to the crotch and from the left side of the body to the right, is made entirely of a hard plastic battery pack that's just flimsy with covered in cheap fabric. There's literally no stuffing in the body of this supposedly "huggable" toy, and of course my granddaughter doesn't feel like "hugging" a hard plastic battery pack. Neither her older brother nor I can dictate how we should deal with him by "hugging" him. She sings and speaks if you press FIRMLY on a spot fairly low on the toy's belly or raise her arms, but the repertoire is very limited and annoyingly repetitive at times. It's nothing like my granddaughter's other stuffed animals that can actually be hugged and all the child has to do is squeeze the toy's hand or a spot on their tummy to make it work. All in all it was quite an unexpected disappointment considering this cheap, poorly made toy is a 50th anniversary gift from the beloved character Elmo!
