Review on NEUMI Atom 1080P Full-HD Digital Media Player: Enjoy Seamless Playback and Looping with HDMI and Analog AV Connectivity by Jamal Gignilliat

I bought it to make a very simple photo slideshow on my TV. I thought it would be easy and while this device was cheap I wasn't trying to do anything special so it should be fine. I was wrong. The biggest problem is the remote control, which is the only way to control this device. I put new batteries in and it didn't work. I have to keep the remote within 6 inches of the device and then every 7th or 8th time I press the button the remote works with the device. I have to keep pressing the button, then the device CAN respond. I really can't tell if any of the device's features work as it takes a long time to reach just the first or second menu. Again, I know this is a budget device, but I'm really disappointed with it.
