Bought these for my '98 Chevy Silverado. At the same time, the lamps and the headlight housing were replaced. Also, I added a kit to keep the low beam on along with the high beam. These are quality lamps, the braid is well constructed and they don't feel cheap or flimsy at all. The installation went well, they seem to be a little loose on the headlight housing, but this may be because the housings are not original. So I added a slightly thicker o-ring to ensure they are waterproof. I haven't had any moisture issues at all. Bright, these bulbs are insanely bright. I can see 100 times better than the old halogen bulbs. And their range is fantastic too. I can see deer and reflective signs at least twice as far as my old halogen highway headlights. I had a slight flickering issue with one of the far bars but I contacted Lasfit and they quickly sent me a free replacement! Outstanding customer service! The only negative I can say about this or any other LED headlight bulb is that they don't generate much heat in the headlight housing. Which may or may not be an issue depending on where you live. A few weeks ago we drove through a nasty blizzard with very, very wet, heavy snow mixed with rain. I believe the top speed is 25 mph because the visibility was so poor and the roads were very slippery and I live in northern Minnesota so I had a lot of practice with winter roads. (usually not that bad here, usually just cold with drier snow) We had to stop and turn off the headlights multiple times (64 mile drive, dual carriageway) because once there was about 1/2 inch of frozen stuff in the house, almost couldn't keep up see ahead. But it's not the lights, it's just winter. I think all LED bulbs, regardless of brand, will have the same problem. because the snow piles up so fast. So I think they will do well for most of the country. I wish I had received them sooner, they are much easier to see. And deer on the highway and pedestrians in the city. I have looked at many LED bulbs and they are exceptional value compared to what is available out there with great reviews. You can get all 4 lamps for less than some companies sell 2. Bottom line, I highly recommend them, especially for the Chevy 88 - 98 body type. No modifications are required to resize them. It's as easy as replacing a regular light bulb.
