Was looking for narrow, soft bristles for a family member with choking health issues. No vomiting (in the photo the brush head is compared to the children's toothbrush we currently use). I wanted to try it and it felt thick, but probably because of the thousand bristles. VERY THICK so I soaked it in peroxide before use (I try too) and will soak it between uses as mold/mildew was mentioned in the review. Check the COLGATE website for how to use peroxide, an antibacterial mouthwash (or completely dry toothbrushes, which I think is impossible with bristle density). Updated if there are problems.
