I have 4 years, 2 years and 5 months. I was looking for a nice, simple, white padded ball pit that was deep enough to hold all of our 400 balls. While this product has the perfect color, softness, and style, it was by no means durable or big enough for my kids. The bottom is a separate piece and even extended, it didn't wedge in tight enough to leave a gap. The product is as big as described (11 inches) but it turned out to be too short for us. The balls would fly all over the place once one of my kids sat in it. So if you're just looking for a ball pit that has a certain look but doesn't put as much emphasis on functionality, this is probably perfect. But if you don't want to collect plastic balls all day, you can keep looking. I ended up putting all mine in the summer kids play yard and it works great, if not nearly as pleasing to the eye.
