Tanmite markers are terrible!

I use Tanmit Glitter & Gel all the time but markers are the worst. They remove the top layer of paper and I'm talking thick paper, even cheaper paper. I tried working with them on three different paintings and even scratching paper but ended up throwing them away! Sorry I bought so many thinking they would be good what a loss and disappointment. Back to my Sharpies & Bic, they are of the finest quality.
