Adjusts to fit different size door frames

I've wanted one of these for a long time and now that I have it I regret it took me so long to grit my teeth and jump on it. I found several different options at Revain but settled on this one due to the larger size of the platform; Aside from having big feet, I wanted a large surface to stand for safety. I bought this with the intention of using it when we load our kayaks onto a roof rack or when we need to carry other things there, but have now found a much more common use for it. It has already proven to be very useful when I wash my truck. My truck's roof is a little over 6ft 5in high, so there's no way I can reach in and wash it or anything. Even standing in the cab with the door open is too difficult for me and impossible for children. Before I forget, the step has a double adjustment that can be adjusted for different door sizes. On my truck I have to use the outside hinge adjustment and on my wife's car I have to use the inside or smaller adjustment, it's an easy manual adjustment, no tools. In any case, this amazing little step is very handy and useful. I use it more than I expected and it's incredibly strong. I'd be more worried about the door hook or fasteners failing on it long before there were any problems at that point. As a reminder: β€’ It's very strong and reliable β€’ Easy to hook in β€’ Large footpad with anti-slip strips The only thing I would like to improve is the support pad under the step. The description said it was a large hexagonal rubber cushion, which I was counting on. In fact, however, it is a large triangular plastic (possibly ABS) trim strip that automatically adjusts to the slope of the door. It works great and I have no complaints but a rubber or rubberized pad will certainly take away the worry of damaging or scratching the door frame. In the end I went for the orange version and looking back it was a good choice. The color alone saved me from closing the door while it was still attached. I noticed it in time out of the corner of my eye and closed the door in time.
