I have lived in my apartment in Brooklyn, New York for 12 years now. Dirt and dust have accumulated on the floor and mold over many years. Never cleaned with a cleaner and malice until I used a steamer. WOW! You don't even have to use detergents. Everywhere I've used it, the layers of dirt just melted away. And I've scrubbed floors on my hands and knees because I never thought a Swiffer could be as good as an old-fashioned elbow. Now I just gently move the steamer across the floor. As soon as I put it together, I had the feeling that it was a solid construction. Obviously this is my first steam cleaner and I think I made the right decision. I considered buying another brand for $70 but stopped there. That's quality. Furthermore, they test each steamer in operation before shipping, which gives an extra layer of confidence.
