My 5yo is brutal with the things he has, and this scooter has really stood the test. This is a solidly build, and somewhat heavy, scooter for kids to play with. Don't mishear me on this - it's not necessarily heavier than some of the other brand names that are out there, but it is not necessarily light. This was easy to put together, and fun to get my kid out on it to really tear up the streets of our neighborhood (metaphorically speaking). The flashing wheels aspect is cool too - but the kids riding it don't have as much of the joy of seeing them light up.
