Hilarious Electronics

The thing is about the size of a bottle cap. It was in a padded plastic envelope and in a box that would hold about 100 more for 50 times the price. Now about how it works. Installation took 3 seconds. Worked on first boot. It worked perfectly. As. This is an easy fix for a broken or missing port on your system board. At least in combination with a $12 PCIe card. It never ceases to amaze me that even if you can't find the exact solution, a PCIe card with that particular port can almost always find two pieces that together solve the problem. Motherboard without port. (The board was new a few years ago, USB 3.1 Gen 2 wasn't intended for this board, so I had to go that route.) It's not as elegant as a motherboard connector, and it's not as fast. like one of them, but 10 Gbps vs 20 Gbps, not that big of a deal. Fast enough for my needs.
