A bad battery kept my car from overturning when parked outside. He sat on the street for 18 months. Interstate battery 7 years old. The voltage is still 11.84V. I poured water in it and ran the thing to the end 3 times. The first time it took 18 hours, the second time 10 hours, the third time 6 hours. Started the car 10 times and the voltage still showed 12.45v, after parking it went up to 12.63v. Let's see how long it lasts (battery and charger) but seems to have recovered pretty well . Next I try on a 10 year old Walmart Exide battery. It's only 5.5V. Will be updated. Updated 05/19/2020. Didn't recover the Exide battery which probably had a short circuit inside. Still a great charger and all the batteries I've used it on had a quiescent charge rate that was 0.25-0.5v faster than my 5 amp Schumacher charger. Definitely worth your money!
