the best for the price - smart little projector

my curiosity won out with this projector, which i was very skeptical about. I couldn't get over the super cheap price and with the reviews being overwhelmingly positive I just had to see what happens to this lovely little projector-like box. positioned as a device for children. I strongly disagree as the projector light emitted by the device is very strong and can damage your eyes. In addition, the device gets very hot. Not in a bad way, just another factor that makes me say it's not for kids. Go ahead - this is great for family movie nights or sporting events involving the family, but I find this machine requires adult supervision. I love this little projector and so far it has exceeded my low expectations. Having worked in various roles in hotels over the past twenty years, I know professional projectors and their costs. The presence of a high-quality projector is required in hotels with a conference room. Therefore, I am experienced in what makes a quality device and what you have to look out for in cheaper versions that cannot be inferior to the more expensive ones. I'm used to a decent $500-$700 projector, so given the fact that the machine in question costs under $50, I initially dismissed it as some sort of joke too good to be true. I am very happy to report that I have just watched several films over 24 hours and not only does this projector work great but it is easy to use. I didn't even have to use the battery operated remote control as I could control the machine manually using the buttons on the unit. I chose the HDMI option and hooked up the computer first and then the DVD player and both were successful. I seem to have gotten a better picture with a DVD player connected. I love that there is a menu to choose from (I used the remote for this part) where you can change the aspect ratio, which is important for someone like me who has a very large projector screen. You can choose from 2 preset ratios or choose the automatic option. I was amazed that there is even a small speaker built into the projector, which reminds me of elementary school and those big old projectors used in "high tech" classes (30+ years ago). This unit comes with a decent length HDMI cable. It also comes with a power adapter and remote control which I mentioned earlier. I did mention that this machine gets warm, but not to the point where it bothers me. The instructions recommend not leaving it on for more than three hours I totally agree as most movies aren't longer and if so I would probably still take a break where I could unplug the unit, to let it cool down. In conclusion, I am very happy with this device and recommend it for home theater ideas or outdoor events.
