Poor design, suitable for transferring fuel and lubes
The only way to cap a gas cylinder for storage is to insert the spout into the cylinder and the provided cap with the single seal provided in insert the retaining ring the spout as a seal. You cannot put the spout away for storage as it is the only part with a seal, the lid does not have a seal. The grommet cover doesn't even fit the grommet so it's useless. You must wear rubber gloves when using it to protect your hands from getting the fuel wet as you must keep the spout submerged in the tank.
