These coasters are so cute and work great. Water does not stagnate on the stand, it is completely absorbed. I only give 3 stars for the ease of care. My son had a glass of chocolate milk on a stand. Some of the milk ran down the wall, leaving a ring on the stand where the cup was standing. I didn't see it right away and the milk dried up. There is now a tan ring on the stand that cannot be removed. For me it's not critical as they work great. They just color slightly from my experience.
