Review on 🌍 G3 Gold: GlocalMe's SIM Free Charges for Global Connectivity by Vaibhav Karger

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Handy for checking email and junk beyond

I spent my budget on an annual global "unlimited" plan because my schedule for the year was so messy. In the last 5 months I've lived in 3 European countries plus the US and used it everywhere. The device is reliable and the battery lasts a day if you charge it every night. I was able to connect my phone, tablet, and computer to it, so I could use my email and messaging apps anywhere. So if your main goal is to stay connected at the simplest level without having to worry about buying local SIM cards, this will help. e-books and audiobooks, surfing the web, updating software, watching an hour of YouTube or, heaven forbid, 15 minutes of Netflix), this allows you to do it for ONE day a month before slowing down as VISUALLY as The Post does Checking the rest of the month is an exercise in patience and a smoker's desire to tide you over the time between clicking on an attachment and seeing what it is. So if you really want to use the Internet, the so-called Unlimited package - which costs me twice what I would pay for REAL unlimited 24/7 Internet at home in the US - is a pathetic joke. I mostly needed internet for GPS, but I never had enough speed to get it working. CONCLUSION: The device works for messaging and text emails. BUT it won't let you surf the web - it will often be too slow to load a single page if it contains a few images. If you can only travel to a few countries and buy local SIM cards there, do so instead of buying the data packages this company sells. You'll save yourself a ton of money and UNLIMITED frustration. UPDATE: I've been "using" this for seven months now and can honestly say I've never had any other technology that has frustrated me so much I can't get used to it one day a month - even day one The month is too small and limited to anything but minimal text messaging. The price I paid for the unlimited global data package can only be described as a day robbery for the connectivity provided. TERRIBLE. Stay away.
