Review on 🔌 HiLetgo FT232RL FTDI Mini USB to TTL Serial Converter Adapter Module 3.3V 5.5V FT232R Breakout Review by Joel Gumbiner

This review is for the HiLetgo FT232RL USB to TTL Serial Adapter. It does not include leads displayed in ads. It contains a cloned chip. Drivers written by the manufacturer of the original chip intentionally block all adapters with a cloned chip. I had to email HiLetgo three times to ask for drivers because the drivers could not be downloaded from their website. Then when I connected the adapter to my Windows 7 computer, my computer did not recognize the adapter. In other words, the adapter didn't work. I didn't brick it with the driver. It just didn't work.
