I bought these rugs after we installed the dark hardwood floor in our master bedroom. We have two boxes in our room. I bought them on purpose based on comments about mats that trap dirt. The carpet itself is well made. I used a hair dryer to smooth it out of the box. The rugs are large (we ordered two). I was disappointed that there was still a trail of debris from the rugs to the door of the room so I bought a third rug. Now our entire bedroom is practically covered in these mats, so I had to take the rug back. I still have trash on the floor and I just brought it in. Carpets are also difficult to clean. Trash cans don't lift off the mat with a vacuum, you literally have to take them outside and give them a good shake, and sometimes that doesn't work. Moms are okay. I want to get a new carpet. Good. Next time.
