I have an old Dell Optiplex 755 tower still running Win XP. It's used for web development, but I never use it on the web. Dell has a graphics adapter similar to the ATI Radeon HD 2400XT with a DMS-59 port. I already have a DMS-59 VGA splitter that works fine, except that the cable comes loose easily due to its weight. So I ordered this product to ensure a secure connection. The product I am reviewing fits into an ATI card connector and when powered on sends a video signal to the monitor. However, the signal is very blurry. No matter how tight I make the connection, it's still blurry. I don't know if the problem is with the adapter I bought or with the ATI card in my machine. I waited too long to send it back.
