There's been bad talk about the ID card slot, BUT: The wallet is well made! They used glue to hold the skin together during the sewing process. There is some adhesive residue left in the slot so just poke and remove your ID (I have a New York state driver's license) a few times to remove that adhesive and make it easier to get your ID. Applying a small amount of rubbing alcohol to the edges of the ID card between insertion and removal will remove this adhesive even faster.
