love the feel of these socks, thick and comfortable with a cushioning fill to wear all day. However, they are not as long as some other calf socks. I have them a few inches below the knee and not up to the calf. This can be the reason that after the second or third wash you are unfortunately no longer awake all day. I don't think they shrunk and didn't stretch or anything, I just have to tighten them up every few hours. They still feel great, it just hurts when I'm wearing boots.
