Review on Skechers Burgin Tarlac: Top-Quality Industrial Embossed Leather Men's Shoes for Work & Safety by Jonathan Cartwright

Good brand and boots

Before buying I read previous reviews about these boots. The accuracy of the size feedback is correct for slightly larger widths. The length is good. I wear wide and recommend ordering without width. Although it's bearable. Good first impression, very comfortable. The laces are tight when pulled without letting go so they don't work. I've had my boots for a few weeks now. There is nothing negative to report. Sketcher is a well-known brand. The quality will become apparent over the next few months. If I wasn't on the build I would say they are perfect. My boots take abuse so I will be happy when I get 6 months out of these boots. I disagree with the previous review on slip/oil resistance issues. There are no problems here. I walk through puddles on concrete, clay, aggregate and sometimes grease. I climb ladders, steps, scaffolding and benches. No evidence for the report. The protector grips very well. Comfortable sole. Inserts are not required. These are good boots at a good price.
