Dangerous and not for young children

I bought this toy for my husband to use as a stuffing for stockings. I thought he and our two boys (3 and 1) would have fun playing with him. When it arrived, I immediately noticed that the packaging was very cheap. I decided to take it out of the box to try it out to avoid the Christmas morning fiasco - I'm so glad I did. The toy is made of very light cheap plastic. There is an on/off switch under the ball and you need to press a button on the remote control to start the toy. As soon as you press the button, the toy will start spinning within a few seconds. Presumably, pressing the button again turns the toy off. Mine never turned off. It only stopped after the crash. You have to put your hand or something flat under the toy to make it levitate, but there's no directional control. The toy literally flies everywhere and won't stop until it breaks. The propeller spins very fast and will hit you if you come in contact with it. I know because I got a small cut on my palm trying to keep it from falling. I think this is a dangerous toy and should only be played outdoors with older children. Mine is boxed and shipped to UPS for return as I write this review.
