I've been looking for this for years

I use these plastic cable ties to tie lines for sink stops. You need something to rearrange traditional plastic cable ties (all in one direction). It is great! Any application where you just want to tie something to a strong mount and not lose the item. This item is perfect for use in water such as sinks, pools etc and nylon tips just won't fit.

Pros
