I love the length, thickness and waist control. I usually wear size 2/4. I have wide hips and a flat butt. I bought a medium and it's not too big but not tight either. Small ones were not available. They can slip off when I go in the water but I prefer to hang things around when I'm sitting or walking. I don't like most swim shorts because they are too tight, skinny or short! They are the right length for that. I would say 6 cm long. I also wanted something that would support my waist and sit high enough to hide baby stains when wearing a tankini top. It sits right on or above my navel. The waistband is thicker, which gives some support. It does not press on the stomach and therefore fits perfectly. I'll post a photo when I wear it again.
