As someone who loves checking on the things I get for myself and loved ones, I have little experience putting the camera on less set as perfect situations. Previously I had a small tripod that I used, but often I couldn't get the best viewing angle due to the limited range of motion. As of today I put my tripod away and will use it from now on. It's much more reliable, versatile, and generally useful for my needs. It's great for vloggers, YouTube influencers, and for those times you want someone to join the celebration via Skype who can't be there in person. It would also be great if you need a family/group photo; Take this from someone who has perfected the art of balancing my phone between a series of objects so I can set the timer and run to be in the photo. This is a BIG improvement and will save me a lot of frustration at our family gatherings. It is reliable and well built and I expect he will use it often in the future.
