If you're already familiar with Zig's fantastic range of adhesives, you know that a wet 'blue bond' is a papermaker's best friend. The ballpoint pen tip in this special design ensures precision and is theoretically perfect for any small project. However, I've found that just like a ballpoint pen, you need a firm surface for reliable flow. This won't be a problem for most people, but being a frequent mailer and mail art enthusiast, I'm more likely to do small projects in bed than always at the right desk. If I just need to apply glue quickly, I have to find a very hard surface to attach that glue to, otherwise it just won't work! I MUCH prefer the softer tip of the zig chisel because I can easily get the glue to flow no matter what surface I'm working on, even a pillow! So ultimately, for my purposes, this glue stick isn't as versatile as I'd like it to be. Also, Revain's wholesale prices for these adhesives are excellent, but when will they be sold individually?! Ouch!
