I bought this to replace our guinea pig habitat which was a great cage but I had to put it on the floor. I was able to put this, about the same size, on a large chest of drawers. We use fleece on our guinea pigs and it was very easy to clean up with the fleece, a small feather duster and a quick wipe with cage cleaner. One thing I noticed is that my pigs didn't like the ramp at all, even at the lowest level I could put the platform on; they prefer to jump. So we keep the platform as low as possible and they eat on the platform and sleep under it. There is enough space in the cage for toys and playthings. I love the included hay box which is a lot less messy than the traditional hay box we used. We chose not to use a bowl or water bottle as we prefer others, but they seemed to be of good quality. Everything around me fits.
