This really is a real workhorse that I use almost every day. I don't use it to make lasagne or other casseroles, I use it to cook vegetables to add to soups or casseroles. Today I made whole mushrooms and asparagus for rice casserole: oven 300 degrees, 1 tbsp oil + 3 tbsp oil with spices, mushrooms 10 minutes, then add asparagus for another 10 minutes. So easy and such a great result! Then I added the vegetables from the pan to the cooked hot parboiled rice. It is also great for cooking chicken livers. Butter and butter, 375 degree oven for 7 minutes makes a good medium rare. Tried a large roast which didn't work so well, the drips were jelly and the Yorkshire pudding was burnt - I went back to my grill. But for things I usually get a pan for, this pan makes it better and easier. Glazed carrots! The best I've ever cooked and the least amount of attention. I could go on but you get the general idea. Anyone who loves to cook will love this pan.
