I did a lot of research before purchasing and it looks and works exactly as described. I was not paid to review this product nor was I given a discount for it. Just an open and honest opinion. I bought it for work to use with my monitor (pictured below) as I had back and neck pain from working on a laptop for hours. Not only does this stand look better than other stands I've seen, it also adjusts to tilt or level. The base does not move and stays in place when adjusted. I installed it at about the same height as my monitor so I can sit upright all day. My laptop has a lighter 13.3 inch display. I can't confirm this works as well on a heavy 17-inch laptop as other reviewers have noted. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a stand that protects your neck and back.
