This helped me A LOT after giving birth. I recommend ignoring all the complicated instructions, tossing one of these pouches into a shallow tub and just soaking in it. There was a noticeable difference in my comfort level after bathing with one of them! I've read that heat, not cold, promotes healing. Cold (e.g. flower stalk) reduces swelling and may be helpful immediately after birth, but heat may aid healing after the first 12 hours.
